Charles & Ray Eames

Two of the most influential designers of the 20th century, Charles & Ray Eames (1907-78 and 1912-88) were leading faces in the evolution of mid-century American design. The American duo made defining contributions across a spectrum of creative fields, from furniture and architecture to fine art and film. Among their globally recognised designs, which often centred around natural materials, are the Eames Lounge Chair and the Eames Dining Chair.
