Florence Knoll
American architect, furniture designer and interior designer Florence Knoll (1917-2019) was an influential figure during the rise of Mid-century American modernism. She’s known for her functional aesthetic and her love of clean lines, sleek geometric designs and organic shapes, perhaps inspired by her Bauhaus training. Knoll has been credited with bringing modernist design to office spaces, transforming them with what’s become known as the “Knoll Look”.
