Description
Outstanding 18th century chest of drawers made in the Baroque period in Austria around 1760. This unique baroque chest, coming from a manorial household, impresses with an amazing curved shape and beautiful set nutwood and birds eye maple veneer on the front. The sides were veneered with oak and birds eye maple. All birds eye maple sections on the drawers, on the sides as well on the top surface were elaborately framed with thin inlayed maple threads.
