Description
Nicely made and large incense burner Okimono of a Rat. In bronze with nice patina. The rat has a sort of necklace in it's mouth with round coin like pieces with text on them. Okimono (置物, oki-mono) is a Japanese term meaning "ornament for display; objet d'art; decorative object", typically displayed in a tokonoma alcove or butsudan altar.
