Description
Massive black makart mirror from circa 1880 in Austria. The fantastic carved frame impresses with a very unique shape and was made from solid fruitwood that has been ebonized. Intricate brass stripes and lovely mother of pearl inlays surround this unique large wall mirror. The two wonderful twisted columns at the sides were additionally accentuated with gorgeous brass applications. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process.
