A George VI Coronation stool, designed by Edward Barnsley for the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, London on 12th May 1937. Retaining its original velvet covered stuff-over saddle seat on chamfered squared section limed oak legs. The frame is stamped GR VI Coronation and B. North & Son, West Wycombe.
