A truly magnificent and highly important five light candelabra in the late Regency manner, bearing the mark of Cadman, Roberts & Co. Sheffield, c.1827. Decorative motifs at the base of the central column and the underscrolls to the branches show adherence to designs in George Smith's 'Cabinet-Maker's and Upholster's Guide', (pubd. 1826) particularly Fig 1, Pl.
