Striking mahogany commode from the Empire period in Germany, circa 1815-1820. The straight, timeless shape combined with unique mirror matched mahogany veneer makes this early 19th century trumeau commode an absolute dreamlike piece. The great sized commode offers two doors and a drawer. Beautifully hand carved caryatids depicting women busts covered in fine gold leaf.
