Description
This remarkable piece is an oversize decorative Les Paul style guitar that stands over six feet tall. It makes us think of Claes Oldenberg's playful sculptures and obviously looks like it could be a display from a music store. It was created by Frank Napoli in 2008. Napoli, a retired machinist fabricated many of the parts from scratch– including the pick-ups, the bridge, and the tuning machine buttons and he signed it on the back with a small placquard.
