Circa 1815
A fine and rare pair of Regency Mahogany Library Armchairs upholstered in a leather hide with brass nailing, the deeply shaped backs flanked by scrolling arms and raised on Lyre-shaped mahogany frames with reeded details and turned front legs terminating in brass cups and castors.
Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster and London
