An exceptional antique sterling silver wine goblet, hallmarked I. J. K.
John James Keith, he was a silversmith in London 1827 - 1847 This is dated 1839. He also made a number of items for the churches. This fine example has flowers around the gilt-lined bowl. Arum lilies, these flowers represents purity, faithfulness, holiness. This very popular flower is just a popular today as it was back in the Victorian times when this was first made 184 years ago.
