About Amber Antiques & Interiors
Amber Antiques & Interiors was founded in Antwerp in 1972 by Paul Wagemans, who started out by searching for antique furniture in the French, English and German countryside. When his clients started asking about architectural antiques as well, a new strand of the business was born.
Because he had the eye of an antiques dealer it came naturally to Paul to see the beauty of centuries-old beams, wooden planks and stone slabs. By reclaiming these humble materials their rich character became even more apparent.
Today Amber Antiques & Interiors still combines the two passions and is inspired by the global drive to be more eco friendly. By reclaiming old furniture and materials, no new natural resources have to be harvested. And because of the uniqueness of every single piece, Amber Antiques & Interiors craftspeople can uphold their traditional skils and knowledge.
