About Duffy London Ltd
Established in 2002, Duffy London is a design studio specialising in ideas-based furniture and sculpture designs, combining art and function, and playing with the concepts of gravity, geography and optical illusion.
Their founder Chris Duffy works with a talented team of designers, artisan craftspeople, and skilled manufacturers to turn these concepts into high-quality pieces of luxury, bespoke furniture and artistic sculpture. All pieces are handmade to order in their East London studio with a focus on sustainable design, using woods from Forestry Stewardship Council-managed forests and other eco-friendly materials and mediums.
Works are divided into six main collections: Abyss, Solo, Megalith, Up! Balloon, Swing and Meeting Pod. Bespoke commissions are available on request.
In 2019, a limited edition of the Abyss Table was acquired by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at The Louvre in Paris to become part of the permanent National collection. Chris’s works have also featured at Art Ba...
