Established in 1992, Eric Appel’s eponymous gallery is a treasure trove of 20th-century modern furniture and decorative arts. The New York institution specializes in items from 1940 to the present, primarily French, Italian and American post-war design. Designers featured at Eric Appel include Jean Grisoni, Eric Astoul, Angelo Lelli, Bruno Gambone and Paul Evans. Among the standout pieces you’ll find at the gallery are a Willy van der Meerden wardrobe, a Roger Capron low table, stunning Stillnovo lighting and some contemporary Caroline Blackburn ceramics. With a strong following of international architects, Interior designers, and private clients, Eric Appel has also created Appel Modern Limited Editions.
