Bound by a shared passion for Mid-century Modern, art, architecture, and design, David and Amy Carter launched Pegboard Modern in Chicago in 1999.
With an extensive background in fine art and design, and as collectors themselves, the Carter’s approach is one based on connoisseurship and the belief that good art, architecture and design can be life-affirming.
While the Carters' main areas of interest and expertise are post-war American and Scandinavian design, Pegboard Modern strives to maintain a diverse collection at a range of prices while maintaining a high level of quality.
