Known for decades for dealing in excellent Georgian and Regency furniture, the business in the West Midlands is now run by Jonathan Coulborn, grandson of the founders. He has incorporated his personal interests in Chinese export furniture and paintings, Anglo-Indian and Spanish Colonial items, together with some European furniture and works of art.

Having developed an international reputation for dealing in extraordinary and fascinating works, Thomas Coulborn & Sons has sold to some of the great museums of the world, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, The British Museum, Temple Newsam House, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The de Young Museum of San Francisco, The Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Rijksmuseum.
