About Vingtieme

Marie Bonnet, the founder for Parisian gallery Vingtième, was initiated into antiques by her grandmother, who passed on her passion for beautiful things.

After receiving a classical training in Art History, she became fascinated by the 20th century and its aesthetic revolution of forms and, in 1986, opened her store in Saint-Ouen. An inexhaustible source and innovative journey through the 20th century, it was obvious the gallery would be called Vingtième.

The pleasure of treasure-hunting has remained intact throughout Marie’s career of over 35 years – the antique expert choosing her collection with the greatest care. Some of the treasures she has found include 1950s tulip wall lights by Maison Arlus and a rare living room set designed by Georges Frydman.
