Cubist figurative French mid-century sculpture in brown-red stone, signed.
The round shaped object shows a figure like a sketch with one arm above the head and the other between the legs.
The object is organically round and thus has a soft, almost cozy appearance, only the few lines mark the body.
The stone has in itself a beautiful, delicate and calm grain, which in turn makes the object appear very holistic.
The very decorative sculpture is signed by hand, M.Z. 1981.
