Description
Set of 4 MR10 cantilever chairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, circa 1930.
By unknown manufacturer, circa 1960. Germany
Inspired by the chairs of Marcel Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe replaced the right angles on the front legs with a graceful curve which had the advantage of increasing elasticity.
In good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
